
After watching Polar Express today, 4th graders read the book and compared/contrasted the book to the movie! Many were surprised at how many differences there were!




On Friday, 4th graders went skating for their Quarter 2 PBIS celebration! Fun was had by all! Thanks to Dixie Zeien for hosting!

Good luck to the New Hampton basketball teams tonight! The JV Girls will play first against Decorah at 4:15pm at Decorah High School. Go Chickasaws!!

Teacher Cheri and her students showed kindness by creating goody bags for some of our students on the Giving Tree. They took the time to make adorable pictures and then put yummy goodies inside the bag. Thank you to Teacher Cheri and her students!!

Middle schoolers have been making and color bookmarks to share with the elementary school students during makerspace time in the library.


Congratulations to Lance who was accepted into the All American Choir again this year! He will be heading to Hawaii this coming summer to sing with students from all over the US.


The Spanish III students are making a pilgrimage in the hallway to symbolize making El Camino de Santiago in Spain. This pilgrimage began more than 1000 years ago. People of many different belief groups make this pilgrimage each year for various reasons. During this unit we studied a particular set of vocabulary and a map of Spain.
