Homecoming Dress Up Days
New Hampton FFA kicked off Homecoming 2021 by following the Fourth Line FFA Motto: "Living to Serve" A former FFA member contacted Mr. Russ about helping harvest a third of an acre of Indian Corn and preparing it for sale at the Cedar Valley Produce Auction for the Special Ornamental Fall Sale. The family offered to do this on shares with the chapter. Both the officers and the members discussed this and with true service in mind decided to offer their time with no further expectations. Sunday afternoon 14 members, Mr. and Mrs Russ and family members picked the earsby hand and started husking and bundling the ears. There are a few pictures below. More work to be completed on Monday. More FFA members took Monday to finish husking the Indian Corn before many of them left for athletic practices. Very proud of these people and their commitment to service.
