Either call into the main high school office to sign up or have your student claim a slot in the office. Mrs. Maas will then follow up with you about next steps and how to access the Zoom meeting. Mrs. Lechtenberg's first grade class have been working extremely hard on building their independent reading stamina and they met their goal of 15 minutes yesterday! Mrs. Lechtenberg is so proud of their hard work and presented each student with a reading award! This award was sent home in their RED folder yesterday. #NHtribe

Senior Parents,
Your student is now able to fill out the FAFSA in order to qualify for financial aid for college. Unsure of how to do this? The Iowa College Access Network (ICAN) is offering virtual appointments to help New Hampton students and families in completing the FAFSA on Tuesday, October 20th. Time slots are an hour long and run from 2-7:30pm.
Please speak with your student about signing up for a time slot and have them sign up in the main office as soon as possible. There are only 5 appointment slots available. First come, first serve! Take advantage of this free opportunity.

Mrs. Schmitt's Foods I Class making omelets. The lab skills were for our knife safety unit, kitchen safety, and food preparation terms. Many skills are also learned (teamwork, time management, leadership skills) during a food lab. The best part is you get to eat your homework!
