Morgan Riha, Abigail Holschlag, Cael Leistikow, Erik Heeren, and Mr. Adam performed a brass quintet at the Veteran's Day ceremony yesterday at the courthouse. They performed The Star Spangled Banner, America the Beautiful, and Abigail performed Taps as part of the program.


Winter Meet the Team Night - attendance limited to 2 wristbands per athlete.


Physics students Cael Leistikow, Avery Throndson & Cody Shultz are measuring their verticals in order to determine their hang time. Grace Burrett, Gabe Zweibohmer and Colton Rochford are learning about vectors, which are determined by magnitude and direction. They are not simply rolling or walking around aimlessly around the gym!! :

Special thanks to Reicks View Farms on hosting a virtual farm tour for our class! We had so much fun learning about the pigs and how everything works!

Last Friday, Mrs. Feldman's class played happy birthday on guitars to Mrs. Dunagen while Mr. Erlandson's class sang. It was Mrs. Dunagen's birthday yesterday.

5th Grade Literacy students had fun reading in the foyer "picnic style" under the guidance of Mrs. Laures and student teacher Mrs. Kloster.





8th grade girls basketball parents, please see that the game @ Oelwein on 11/12 will have limited seating capacity due to having 4 rows of bleachers. Each Player will get 2 wristbands to hand out to a parent/guardian. Thanks, wristbands must be worn prior to entering the building for the contest.

High School Pictures have been placed on hold from Lifetouch at their facility. They should be printed soon and sent to us. Thank you for your patience.

The NHHS drama department will be performing "Once Upon a Zoom" on Friday, November 13th & "You're "Virtually" Driving Me Crazy!" on Saturday, November 14th at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. These will be ticketed events and not open to the public. Each cast member has the ability to purchase up to 8 tickets for family/friends. Tickets must be presented at the door and masks are required throughout the performance. There will be a link shared at a later date to watch a recording of the one-act-plays.

Wanted to remind everyone there is an elementary book fair and a middle/high school book fairs going on! The books are at the school to be purchased by students. There are times each building can go purchase books. Both book fairs go until Nov. 6th.

In our elementary Literary Villian Contest- students have to view a literary villain and write down what book it came from and who it was. There were 16 villains to identify. We had a tie in the elementary. Congratulations to Ethan and Anna! #NHtribe

Our elementary winner of "Guess the number of pumpkins" was Ayden. Congratulations! His guess was right on! #NHTribe

All students will receive free meals until the end of the school year in May. It covers both breakfast and lunch. Students only have to pay if they have doubles, ala carte, extra milk/afternoon milk, or only get milk. Originally that was supposed to end at the of December and has now been extended!
