In our elementary Literary Villian Contest- students have to view a literary villain and write down what book it came from and who it was. There were 16 villains to identify. We had a tie in the elementary. Congratulations to Ethan and Anna! #NHtribe

Our elementary winner of "Guess the number of pumpkins" was Ayden. Congratulations! His guess was right on! #NHTribe

All students will receive free meals until the end of the school year in May. It covers both breakfast and lunch. Students only have to pay if they have doubles, ala carte, extra milk/afternoon milk, or only get milk. Originally that was supposed to end at the of December and has now been extended!

New Hampton Schools would like parents to know of a change to the school meal program.

A former student of her stopped by from Culinary College to speak with her current students. She was so proud of Blake Geerts!

Our amazing Pre-K students who created a character from a book using a pumpkin. These are amazing! https://flipgrid.com/68cbd875

Mrs. Geerts homeroom had 100% participation today. We had some great costumes as kids dressed up to "Say Boo to Drugs."

Congratulations to Lance Reicks who made it into Iowa All State Choir!

Reminder: today is one hour early dismissal due to the parent and teacher conferences. Tomorrow there will be no school.

Mrs. ten Hoeve's homeroom was one of 4 groups yesterday with 100% participation in teaming up to say no against drugs. Nice Job everyone.

Art teacher, Lorraine Dunagan, brightens up the middle school hallways and student and staff through her colorful and positive messaging! #NHtribe @DunaganLorraine

Using their Bodily Kinesthetic intelligence, students in Jamie Ohrt’s Biology class, move to spaces in the room to identify what their strongest intelligence is based on Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences. Peers gain insight on one another #NHtribe @jlquass

Keeping high schoolers fit, Caleb Ciavarelli has his PE class shooting hoops #NHtribe

I am so impressed with the knowledge that Mrs. Quirk's homeroom had on Norman Borlaug and the green revolution. Students were able to speak on genetics, cross breeding, and how he was able to help countries around the world fight off famine. I'm super impressed that everyone also found someone to dress alike with during today's Red Ribbon Dress up day. Saying no to Drugs Together.
