The New Hampton Dollars for Scholars Awards Ceremony will be held this year on Tuesday, May 14th at 6:30 PM. The Ceremony will take place in the New Hampton High School Competition Gymnasium. The ceremony is open to anyone who would like to attend! Rooftop BBQ gave the Blackstone a try yesterday with bacon smash burgers. They turned out pretty well!




The fifth grade class collected lots and lots of garbage today in areas surrounding the middle and high school as they celebrated Earth Day!




2nd grade students in the innovation lab created a toy or game! They had to try to think of something that was not invented yet.

Colin Larson from Larson Landscaping taught the students a few things about grass and edging. Students helped bring the softball infield edge to life with new makeover

Students are making good progress on their projects. Students are building confidence in tying knots and using the running stitch and backstitch.










Algebra students recently used their knowledge of exponential functions to calculate the costs associated with credit cards. Students purchased an item of their choice and calculated the costs associated with not paying off a credit card balance for one year by either making no payments or the minimum payment. Students then wrote a short summary about credit cards and the actual costs of carrying a monthly balance.




Mr. Joel Wisner, the student teacher in the art room with Ms. Nelson, joined Spanish class to present to us about the different painting styles and some Spanish-speaking painters. Our PBL is a cultural experience learning about painters. Be watching for more photos as the project unfolds into writing a presentation in Spanish, painting and presenting in Spanish.
