Senior Parents: the FAFSA is now open, although I am being told it is crashing frequently, probably due to so many people throughout the country now rushing to get it done. Reminder that you need to create a FSA ID before you can file the FAFSA, which will need to be approved. You can do that here: https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch To file the FAFSA, you will go to this site: https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa

Students recently finished their Scatter Plots PBL unit in Algebra. Right before Christmas, each algebra student collected data on a subject of their choice, made a table, created a scatter plot, drew a line of fit, and wrote an equation for a line of fit to make predictions. The first picture shows Caycee Crawford working on creating her scatter plot and line of best fit. She chose to research the average number of social media posts per day since the year 2008. The second picture is Aubrey Baker, Billy Klassen, and a few other first period algebra students researching data for their project.

The three year olds had so much fun in December! Some highlights included: dramatic play in a Christmas home, running a hot cocoa stand, exploring with magnetic wands and jingle bells, drawing and painting Rudolph, making Play-Doh cookie cut outs, and painting with Christmas tree branches. What an exciting month for these little learners!
