A great way to end the week! FCS (Mrs. Schmitt) was awarded a $500.00 Beef Grant. Thank you to the Iowa Beef Council. The money will go towards our grocery bill for all of the beef we use in our food labs.
Students all got a chance to enjoy S & E Ice Cream for showing improvements on their state assessments. Thank you S & E for serving the delicious treats.

Jessica Rochford, FB Outreach Coordinator, came to visit all three second grade classrooms this week. The focus was - How Many Hats Does A Farmer Wear? Students learned about different career paths in agriculture. Students also created pinwheel illustrations of the many hats.
