7th Grade FCS students (2 sections- a total of 37 students) have been doing some simple daily life skills of learning to cook over a stove. They made hash browns from baked potatoes and then the next lab they learned how to cook scrambled eggs. The young students are doing really well and if they practice at home they were instructed to ask permission first to use the stove

Baking Class is learning to make pies. First, the students learned about all of the different types of pies and vocabulary. As an activity the students made homemade playdough to practice with to make pie crust. This is a perfect way to make one and two crust pies over and over again.

Our 4th graders visited the Veteran’s Memorial today to learn more about the brave men and women who have served our country. They listened, asked thoughtful questions, and showed great respect as they learned about the sacrifices veterans make to protect our freedoms.
