We are thrilled to announce that menstrual hygiene products are now available in the women's bathrooms across all three of our buildings for both students and staff. Thanks to our partnership with Love for Red, we are able to offer these essential products free of charge to anyone who may need them. Baskets with supplies have been placed in bathrooms—please be considerate and take only what you need.

Art Appreciation visited the Des Moines Art Center, and then the Pappajohn Sculpture Park on 4/9/25 with Ms. Nelson. Keziah Uglum, Karla Pickar, Cecelia Delgado, and Aurora Paladini.
They got to explore the museum and then the public art there in Des Moines! The students go to see some really famous artwork that we have looked at in class- in person!

These kits are equipped with essential items to assist in managing life-threatening bleeding in emergency situations. Our primary goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of both our students and staff.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Boeding, Speltz & Wernimont Family Dentistry for their generous donation of bags and toothbrushes for the Elementary Tooth Fairy Drop. The Tooth Fairy will be delivering a special bag filled with goodies to the homeroom that has lost the most teeth throughout the school year. Rebecca Wickman is a member of NICC's Career and Technical Student Organization, HOSA. She recently competed at state for the Health Professions Event: Nursing Assistant. Rebecca placed 3rd! Qualifying her to advance to nationals. Joann Svendsen is the NICC's High School Consortium Nursing Faculty and HOSA Advisor. Congratulations!
