Seventh-grade students take part in a Chickasaw Leadership Summit as a part of their combined Social Studies and Literacy PBL project.




During our construction chapter the Housing & Interior Design students "construct" a Home sign. Each chose a saying that means something to them. I will show you the end results soon.



During Red Ribbon Week the 7th grade FCS students do a fall lab. They did a great job!


Our Chickasaw XC team is heading to state in Fort Dodge! Please help send the team off to state by joining them in the New Hampton High School cafeteria at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 27 and then they will be escorted out of town down Main Street. Set your phone reminders as we would love to see a big crowd on the main street sidewalks cheering on the XC team as they head to state!!
The state XC meet takes place on Friday, October 28 at Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge. 2A girls run at 2:00 pm and 2A boys run at 2:45 pm. If you are heading to Fort Dodge, you will want to arrive at least 30 minutes early to allow ample time for parking. Kindergarteners in Mrs. Eichenberger's class have been working on sounding our words, reading sight words, and partner reading. They are so proud of themselves!





Parents of New Hampton and St. Joe's 8th grade class - Just a reminder of the upcoming meeting and signup for the New Hampton Lions Club 8th grade Washington DC trip. This year's trip is scheduled for July 23rd - 30th, 2023.

Build the Tallest Tower with spaghetti and marshmallows. This was a team building activity to promote a positive growth mindset.




Foods I students (two sections) made omelets after learning knife skills and prepping terms. It is amazing how good they tasted when you add a little bit of garlic and squeeze lemon juice when you are sauteing.

Thank you to Mrs. Roberson for coming into Baking I Class and helping the students ice sugar cookies. The cookies were made for Industrial Tech's open house on Monday, October 24th. Leaves, hammers, and saw cookies were made and designed by the students.


Reminder that today we will run a 1 hour early out schedule for conferences at the high school. We look forward to seeing parents tonight. We will be featuring our CTE departments at an open house from 5-7 pm in the lower lobby. Stop in to try our Take and Bake Pizza and FFA Jam. Learn more about our MOC program and tour the Industrial Technology Shop. On Thursday we will help parents with FASFA and learn more about dual enrolled classes with NICC during conferences.
