Course Descriptions & Room Numbers Locations for the Middle School Showcase tomorrow after school from 4:00 - 6:00. Please stop out and check out the students work, you may use the upper parking or the lower parking, all displays, samples, presentations, demonstrations (drone, and RC Crawlers) will be in the Middle school building. Also, Mrs. Schmitt's HS Cafe will be giving away samples of Tribe pizza outside the office, where you will have the option to purchase frozen Tribe pizzas.





Tonight's soccer game in Hudson will start at 5:00 p.m. The address to get to the field is 303 Pheasant, Hudson, IA 50643.

The New Horizon Chamber members came today and handed out awards to Middle Schoolers for a job week done on their Midmester upcycled windows. Good job middle schoolers.


Students are putting some of the finishing touches on decorations for
our “You’re Invited” dinner at The Pub today. We can’t wait!



Please stop in tomorrow from 4:00 - 6:00pm, the middle school students will be showcasing what they have learned from their project based learning courses. Hot Diggity Dog and Bake Me Happy will have a meal available for those that come hungry. Proceeds will be donated to a family in need.

The New Hampton Dollars for Scholars Awards Ceremony will be held this year on Tuesday, May 17th at 6:30 PM. The Ceremony will take place in the New Hampton High School Competition Gymnasium. This year the ceremony is open to anyone who would like to attend! Kindergartners are looking at Day 10 eggs to see if there is a chick in the egg. Is it dark? Is it light? We’ll see how many chicks we get on Day 21!


7th grade STEAM challenge brought to you by Mrs. Rodgers and Mr. Erlandson. How high can you suspend a large marshmallow in 15 minutes using spaghetti noodles, mini marshmallows, and a foot of masking tape? Fun.





New Hampton Middle School students joined some friends at Kensington Place Assisted Living. It was great to have the company and play some cards!

Mindfulness Matters participants have been learning about different mindful practices as well as ways to take care of themselves! They have learned about yoga, meditation, mindful walks, and how “playing” and creating foster resilience in all of us!



For the New Hampton Elementary TRIBE assembly, 4th graders Brody Orthaus, Lauren Throndson, Levi Hansen, Lily Roethler, Johnna Nie, Margeaux Altepeter, and Destiny Cannon presented a skit on the important character trait of Peace.


New Hampton Elementary April TRIBE students of the month are: Emery Herrmann, Scarlett Quinn, Lane Van Driel, Kinsley Angell, Jack Finn, and Holden Brown.

Mrs. Geerts's Endmester class, "You're Invited" visited the FCS room today while they were on their second day of making pizzas. The fifth grade students were very interested and asked a lot of questions. The high school students did a great job at answering the questions while working. In two class periods we managed to make 110 pizzas! Please come to the Middle School Showcase on Tuesday, May 3rd from 4-6 p.m. and Tribe Pizzas will be for sale (with free samples) near the NHMS office and front doors.
