All Around the World with Cooking & Cultures
We went on a field trip today to Bily Clocks in Spillville. We learned about the Czech & German culture thanks to our two guest speakers.

We welcome Landon Buckridge and Ethan Beck as student teachers in our 6th grade classrooms. Landon will be working with Ms. Snyder and Ethan will be working with Ms. Sinnwell . Landon and Ethan come to us from Wartburg College.

Mrs. Sinnwell’s intervention group created a Christmas village (all comes apart) and it is now in need of a good home, if interested please come and pick up after school by next Friday 14th. You must haul. Great job students, lots of fun.





Tanner and Aiden have been hard at work for the last month, planning and designing a sign to hang over our USS Arizona display in the middle school. The final product came in, and with the help of Sandy's Sign shop, we think they knocked it out of the park!


Bus 3 will be running a few minutes behind schedule. Please have kids wait inside until the bus arrives.

J-term class, Ya'all Take Care Now, started class off right with two entry events. Thank you The Charles Theater for opening your doors during the day for us to see #AmericanUnderdog and the SNAP Fitness for sharing the importance of exercise to our mental health (and the smoothie)! We had a great time!

Students are doing the gallery walk during our mini-Hackathon to discuss their bug lists. What problem is getting solved next????
