Thank you to the Middle School Art Teacher (Lorraine Dunagan) and the 8th graders for painting a work of art in the form of a U.S.A. chair! I was so surprised when they delivered it to my classroom. I am so honored to be chosen for this special gift. It brought tears to my eyes. What a wonderful school we have and such a great connection between middle and high school. A sincere "thank you" from Mrs. Schmitt




Housing & Interior Design I Class just finished a complicated chapter over construction basics. The students at the end of the chapter each constructed a home sign with a special motto. A huge thank you to Mrs. Schmitt's contractor, Jason Wenthold for donating the wooden signs.


While in the Library/Media Center, Izzy met several of Mrs. Laures' 5th grade students. Everyone enjoyed the time together.


Pre-season sign-ups/meetings for high school winter sports will be tomorrow right after school, October 28th:
Girls Basketball in the HS library
Boys Basketball in the MS/HS cafeteria
Wrestling in the HS annex
Any student, 9th-12th, interested in participating should plan to attend. A reminder to make sure the activities office has an updated sports physical on file.

Happy Fall Y'all! Mrs. Schmitt 7th Grade F.C.S. (Family & Consumer Science) Class is having a fall party this week. Today they were prepping their treats of: mummy hotdogs, spooky spiders or dirt cups, clementine pumpkins, pretzel sticks, apple / peanut butter smiles, and witches' brooms.
If they had this much fun making them think how much fun they will have eating them!




Spanish 1 students in Tish Macon’s class use vocabulary structures so they can answer questions and have conversation.

Red Ribbon Week: Lots of "twinning" today to stand up against drugs. Tomorrow is jersey day to "Team up against drugs." I can't wait to see everyone team up. Go Chickasaws!
