The Spanish III students created an ofrenda again this year to commemorate those who have left this world during Día de los Muertos. It gave everyone the opportunity to remember and share about someone special in their life. It is a meaningful experience.
For those who are unfamiliar with the celebration, it is not celebrated in every Spanish-speaking country, but where it is there is an ofrenda in the home and a visit to the cemetery. While there is food and dancing, the primary focus is on those who have passed away and carrying on their memory.

The menu is: Grape Uncrustable (Deli Sub for those with allergies), String or Cubed Cheddar Cheese, Chips, Baby Carrots w/ Ranch, Apples w/ Caramel, and Fruit Cup. There will be NO ala carte or salads available this day. Please contact our director of food service, Jodi Cerwinske if you have any questions
