5th graders are determining whether certain foods contain starch as a
nutrient during lab.

The Construction class is working on building doghouses as a smaller project to prepare them to build a larger shed. Each group is working with a partner to build a different doghouse than the other groups. They are finding obstacles within their plans and problem solving through them to a solution.




Bus 3 is running late this morning. She will be getting there.

The middle school has been taking pride in our awesome facility and doing an outstanding job of making sure the cafeteria is clean everyday.


Innovation success=teamwork, innovation, and problem solving! These kindergartners had all 3! Mrs. Eichenberger’s class took the challenge and crushed it!





Another successful Northeast Iowa Studio Tour! This group asked great questions, spoke with the artists, and just were an all around great group to take. I'm so grateful for being able to do this. We teach the next generation to love art, support artists and hopefully add more to the world.




3rd Graders visit Fort Atkinson Rendezvous Days on Friday, Sept. 24.





3rd Graders have been studying the life-cycle of a butterfly. The students raised baby caterpillars and watched them grow. The caterpillars formed into chrysalis and finally became butterflies. The 3rd graders released them on the playground.





Thursday, October 14th is Picture Day for Elementary. Friday, October 15th will be for the Tues/Fri. 3year old Preschool and anyone who may have missed school Thursday.

More Outfly: Crafts, snack time, and a little basketball in the gym. Great job today Chickasaws, so much laughter, teamwork, and options to showcase your talents.





Students had a blast with legos, board games, and ballon volleyball. Chess was a great option as students read Frindle in Mrs. Laures ELA class. A lot of fun today with Outfly.





Outfly pictures of Bingo and a lucky winner. Students also decorated cookies baked by our High School Foods class under Mrs. April Schmitt. The icing was fantastic as well. Thank you NHHS.





Middle School Students had a lot of fun during this year's Outfly. What students believed to be an assembly on wellness turned into a get day of working together through play and activities. More action shots to come. Chickasaw Pride. #NHtribe
