2nd graders were given a stuffed animal to help learn about empathy, respect, and responsibility. They especially liked that they got to keep their stuffed animal. Thank you to Theisen's for sponsoring this fun unit!





Thank you to Mallory and Brady for putting on this Huipil and material for a skirt. It is traditional clothing for indigenous women of Guatemala. The design and colors represent the tribe and region the people come from.

Fifth grade math students using ice water to collect data on temperature change during a 60 second time period. The data they collected was then graphed on a coordinate grid.





The Extended Learning Program students have been busy building their paper towers for the #FluorChallenge, watching world-renowned speakers at Celebrate Innovation Live #ciLive. Also on the board is all the brackets the 5th-8th grade ELP students completed for March Mammal Madness #2021MMM.


On March 9th, 12 fourth-graders participated in the Keystone AEA/NICC Science and Engineering Fair and met with judges via Zoom to share their invention and their invention process.

Under the direction of ag teachers Steve Pfaffle and Jim Russ, 8th graders prep for presentation on the Importance of Farmers in Northeast Iowa. 10-12 minute presentation including 2 farmer interviews will all be part of their District Ag Impact contest work.
