Tonight's 5/1 Junior High Girls Track meet has been cancelled due to track conditions. We are in the process of renovating our football field. The overnight rain, along with the current mist, has made our track facility a mess, which will make it hard to pull it off a track meet in these conditions.

Day in the Life of a Street Muralist: Chickasaw mural complete. Students used creativity and school spirit to create each letter in the word Chickasaws. Artists signed their work. Always an important process when an artwork is complete. Good job Chickasaws!

Last week the High School Interact Pen Pal group went to the Elementary to have lunch with their 4th grade friends. They had a great time. It was a fun year of writing back and forth and many positive relationships were made. Thank you to the parents for allowing their child to participate! Thank you to Mrs. Schwickerath and the 4th grade teachers for all you did to help make this happen!

Guest speaker, Mrs Muñoa, shared some Mexican traditions with students in Cultural Curiosity class. Students learned how to celebrate a cumpleaños with a piñata, played a game called Lotería, and tried Mexican candies.
