Mrs. Schmitt's apple tree was full of apples this fall. Baking I students made fresh apple pie filling. They showed off their cutting skills and made a bag for every student in the class. Baking I Class will use them in a two crust apple pie that they will make and bake to take home for their Thanksgiving meal. Yum! Fresh apple pie on the table to share with their families. (Thank you to Roy Barron for taking the pictures.)

The middle and high school cross country team will be selling pumpkins on Thursday, September 26 from 4-8pm (at the Famer's Market) for the Einck Family. All the proceeds (100%) go to the Einck Family for their son Brady Einck. In April of 2022, Brady was diagnosed with Metachromatic Leukodystophy (MLD) at the age of 7. There is no cure for MLD. Since his diagnosis, Brady has lost the ability to walk, talk and eat. Fortunately, Brady has not lost his big smile. He loves being outside, around people and anything with wheels. The Einck Family is forever grateful for the support the community and school district have shown over the last two years.
