We look forward to seeing you tomorrow! All students will begin in homeroom before our kick off assembly! Schedules, locker numbers, and combinations will be handed to students in Homeroom. Students will need to register vehicles and qualify for open campus (Jr/Sr) before schedules are changed. Our schedule will be as follows:

We do enjoy our new parking lot at the high school! Please keep it nice and treat it appropriately. If not, you will be getting a ticket like this out of town individual and paying for damages.
New Hampton along with the NEIC will be moving to electronic ticketing this school year. Tickets can be purchased through Bound ahead of time or at the gate with a credit card much like what we have done for state level events. We will have some cash available for those who are unable to buy tickets in this manner. We are planning to move towards being fully cashless. There will not be a processing fee for the 23-24 school year. Ticket prices will be as follows:
Varsity FB: Adults - $6, Students - $6 (Prices determined by district)
Varsity VB: Adults - $6, Students - $4
Varsity XC: Adults - $6, Students - $4
Under level high school events: $5
Middle school events: Adults - $3, Students - $2. Maximum of $5 per family.
A reminder that New Hampton students will be receiving their Activity Tickets at no charge this year through the generous support of some local businesses and organizations.

Elementary Families! When you come for Open House tonight between 2:00–6:00 be on the lookout for our bulletin board to write a special note to your child! You’ll find a cup of markers next to each board. We can’t wait to see everyone!
For High School students that are enrolled in the face-to-face/hybrid sections of Composition I, Psychology, Anatomy and Public Speaking: your classes will begin on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, not today. For students that may be enrolled in an online-only course (for example, Sociology, Cultural Diversity & Identity, the online version of Composition I) those will start tomorrow. You will want to log into your My Campus/Brightspace account to make sure you do not get behind and have all the information for your course. Middle School Parents, those that have students participating in junior high sports a reminder the first official fall practices will be August 28th after school.
New Hampton is pleased to welcome Rachel Bauler as the Ag education teacher and FFA Advisor. Rachel enjoys learning and trying new things which combined with her passion for agriculture will give students many new experiences.
We are excited to welcome Hannah Jenkins, who will be serving the district as an English Language Learner Teacher. She wants to provide equal opportunities to students whose first language is not English.
It is a pleasure to welcome Josie Evanson to the district. Josie will be serving students in the elementary school as the guidance counselor. She began her career as a social worker and wanted to help more kids though the prevention side of counseling.
New Hampton welcomes Laura Larson, who will serve as a K-4 special education teacher. Laura became a teacher to advocate for kids and give them a good start in their education.
New Hampton is excited to see a familiar teaching face in Emily Sanford, who will be teaching 3 yr preschool. Emily says she has always enjoyed helping people and loves seeing students grow and learn every day.
New Hampton welcomes Jess Moore, who will help facilitate nursing duties for students K-12. She enjoys spending time with kids and teaching them how to better care for themselves. It is fun to see kids become proactive about their own health.
New Hampton welcome's Nicole Sanford, who will be teaching 7th grade ELA. Nicole says she loves working with kids for the "aha" and breakthrough moments when students learn new concepts and accomplish something they thought was impossible.
New Hampton is pleased to welcome Raquel Schmitt, who will be teaching 2nd grade. Raquel shared that she became a teacher because she understands the strong bonds education can form between the teacher and student. She is excited to meet her kiddos.
Please welcome Steve Farrell, our high school special education teacher. Steve became interested in education because his father was a professor at Hawkeye Community College. Education has always been important growing up and through that he has gained many role models/friends.
