We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Chickasaw County Public Health for their generous donation of multiple Stop the Bleed kits to our schools. These kits are equipped with essential items to assist in managing life-threatening bleeding in emergency situations. Our primary goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of both our students and staff.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Boeding, Speltz & Wernimont Family Dentistry for their generous donation of bags and toothbrushes for the Elementary Tooth Fairy Drop. The Tooth Fairy will be delivering a special bag filled with goodies to the homeroom that has lost the most teeth throughout the school year. Yesterday, our eighth graders that went to Independence,MO gave thundering speeches to a great crowd. They delivered messages of change, hope, and a brighter future. Congrats to them for their hard work!

This weekend Mr Rude took a group of four 8th graders to Independence Missouri for an oratory festival at the Truman Presidential Library. In addition to giving speeches, they also participated in the White House Decision Center, an activity where they are given a real scenario from history with real documents, and have to decide how they will handle the scenario.

New Hampton 5th graders had a guest performer on Friday. Ryde Owen came to play and sing some of his original and cover songs. His son is a 5th graders student named Daenen Owen and he performed as well! The 5th graders really enjoyed hearing from him! He is a part of the band called the Part of 2 bands and they are called Ramblin’ Ryne and the Jones & Wapsi River Ramblers
and they will be performing at Heartland Days this summer!
