Fourth grade students visited Osborne Nature Center a few weeks ago. What a beautiful day for a field trip as we learned about the town of Osborne, took a hike to observe nature, and looked at animals!

The Spanish III students completed a cross-curricular, cultural learning experience through art. It was the most difficult undertaking of the year, and all the students did phenomenal! They learned about art styles from Mr. Wisner, and how to paint from Mrs. Nelson. The students researched about the lives of a painter from a Spanish-speaking country and wrote about it in Spanish. Then painted a portion of a painting, and created a presentation to share.

Last week the Spanish II class learned from their Spanish-Speaking classmates all about birthdays in Spanish-speaking countries. They learned there are many similarities, but also some differences. Each class of groups made food, piñatas, invitations, decorations, games, and put together a music list. It was a quick, and informative learning experience.
