The New Hampton and Turkey Valley Community School Districts have
recently hired Grundmeyer Leader Services to support the search for a new
shared superintendent. We are asking you to share narrative insights and rank personal
and professional priorities for the new superintendent.

FCS PIE DELIVERY will be Tuesday, November 19th at the tentative time of 3:30 p.m.
If you sold pies please come to the FCS room for pick up from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
You may park by the loading dock of the FCS room as the pies will be in the walk-in-freezer. Staff, if you bought a pie, please come to the FCS room and the FCS class will have them there for you, so the FCS class may keep them frozen. Thank you to everyone who helped with this fundraiser. Let's show our support for the Chickasaws on Friday, November 22 for Meet the Team Night.
The Spanish III classes explored more about El Día de los Muertos as our PBL for this semester. The students then created memory boxes remembering a special person or pet in their lives. The community outreach was subtle, but touching by the conversations some of the students had with family members who were able to share stories about someone important in their lives. Connecting with each other and learning from each other in meaningful ways honors those we remember. Great job students and family!

Fifth graders are testing liquids for glucose in science class.
After reading an article about voting in 8th Grade Literacy, one student suggested they should hold an election for a block president. After a short campaign the following students were elected: Mason Phillips in Block 1, Cade Orr in Block 2, and Coralie Bruess in Block 3. What a fun idea and great way to celebrate Election Day!
