Our Dairy Unit is always a fun one with the students learning how to make ice cream, old-fashioned ice cream, butter, and pudding - all from scratch. They learn about careers in the dairy industry, different breeds of cows, nutrition information, variety of dairy products, and dairy herd health. Many of our students did not grow up on a dairy farm and are learning new information related to the dairy industry.

Large Group Speech had an amazing weekend at State Contest! All groups performed in front of three judges, and their ratings were averaged for an overall rating. Five of New Hampton's six groups received an overall district 1 rating and have a chance to be nominated for All-State, the highest honor a group can get for Large Group Speech.
