The bowling scheduled for 1/9/24 between New Hampton and Oelwein has been cancelled.
Due to the winter storm warning and the prediction of strong winds we have decided to cancel our girls wrestling tournament scheduled for Tuesday night 1/9/24 in New Hampton.
New Hampton Schools will be canceled on January 9th. Classes will resume Wednesday.
Planning is already underway for the Middle School's Endmester Academy. For example, Mr. Rude is planning on using these tasty seasonings during the brand new Rooftop BBQ class! A big thank you to Meat Church for donating these to us!

New Hampton Middle School is excited to welcome UNI Student Teacher Mr. Reynolds. He is excited to start this semester.
Students recently finished their Scatter Plots PBL unit in Algebra. Right before Christmas, each algebra student collected data on a subject of their choice, made a table, created a scatter plot, drew a line of fit, and wrote an equation for a line of fit to make predictions. The first picture shows Caycee Crawford working on creating her scatter plot and line of best fit. She chose to research the average number of social media posts per day since the year 2008. The second picture is Aubrey Baker, Billy Klassen, and a few other first period algebra students researching data for their project.
