Thank you to Jessica Rochford from the Farm Bureau for coming into Mrs. Martinek's second grade class to teach them about different types of pumpkins and their life cycle.




Housing & Interior Design I Class chose slips of paper with housing designs. The groups chose which design they wanted to build and went to work. They made an A-Frame and a Greek Colonial. The students then presented the attributes of each house talking about the architectural features.

The second graders enjoyed a field trip to Twin Ponds on Friday. They learned about owls and bats, did a scavenger hunt in the nature center, went on a nature hike, and made a bat craft. Thank you to Mr. Matt Crayne for an awesome day of learning at Twin Ponds!
