Second graders in Mrs. Heeren's class enjoyed working with conversation hearts today in math. They estimated how many hearts were in their box, sorted the hearts by color, and then counted the actual number of hearts. Students used this information to create a bar graph with their results. The best part was getting to eat the hearts when they were done!

Baking & Food Production II learned the software to put our Chickasaw logo onto sugar cookies made from scratch. The students will experiment in the future with putting their own photos on cookies. (The ink didn't print as bright, but it will work for now. We will order new ink next year.)
