Our 4th grade AG. PIE Partner in Education Joanne Tupper was our guest speaker. She shared how they use math on a daily basis with their Pork enterprise. The students also had the opportunity to see two piglets that she brought to the classroom. They really enjoyed the piglets.

Ms. Good's kindergarten class was in the library for innovation this month. They listened to two stories about Horton from Dr. Seuss. We discussed how he was different and alike in each book. The students then had a challenge to create a nest with an egg in it that could withstand weight like Horton the elephant.

Baking II Class is finishing up their bread unit with using frozen loaves of bread dough (to save time) and they created animals or braided it. Mrs. Schmitt brought from home her homemade raspberry and strawberry jam; now that is a nice teacher!

The High School and Middle School had an impromptu fire alarm go off and it was found to be a dusty alarm sensor in the cafeteria hallway bathroom. Thank you to the NHFD and custodians for rectifying the issue quickly so we could continue with our day.
