This afternoon we welcomed the Iowa Secretary of Agriculture- Mike Naig to speak with our students about agriculture in the state of Iowa. Thanks for coming to see the great things happening in the FFA program at New Hampton.

The NHHS student body had an amazing time at the iJAG Sippin' Success Hot Chocolate Booth on November 15, with over 100 students coming together to enjoy some delicious hot cocoa and cookies! 🍪☕ A huge thank you to The Pub and Belinda Douglas for donating the hot chocolate and baked goods– you made it extra special! 🙌 Another huge thank you to the janitors and food service workers in the cafeteria for all your hard work and help!!
This event was all about warming up for the next semester and building excitement for what's to come in the Iowa Jobs for America's Graduates program. We love seeing our students so engaged and ready to make this upcoming term a success! 💪✨
MS Announcement: Kwik Star Cards are coming home today! - Please check your student backpacks and have cards handed out to those that purchased them this Thanksgiving break. Thank you again to all that made this a very successful fundraiser. Students that had parent pick up marked will be available in the office for pick up Monday or until 3:00pm today.
7th grade students participated in a BreakoutEDU challenge yesterday and many were successful! Teams had to solve puzzles to get codes that opened the different locks. A favorite student quote from the day, "This was super hard, but also really fun!"

Thank you so much to the Tae Kwon Do Thanksgiving food drive! They collected enough food to make a complete Thanksgiving meal for 3 families this year. Their donation went to the Chickasaw Pride Pantry, who has distributed the meals to families. You all really packed a punch with this one!!
