Foods I Class made panini sandwiches. They made good use of our panini presses. After slicing and dicing, using their new knife skills, they did a two-day lab of making their own sandwiches. Panini in Italian simply means "sandwich." The students said it just means, "yum!"

ZoAnn Bear was gracious enough to share her time and talents as our guest chef for Cooking Around the World Class. We are currently traveling through Europe in our textbook. Mrs. Bear and the students made her grandmother's recipe of Rosette from Sweden. "Thank you for passing on your family traditions to my students," said Mrs. Schmitt.

The Interact Club took advantage of the meeting time on Friday morning and worked on three projects: Random Acts of Kindness, a surprise project, and a project that supports Little Sprouts Daycare. There is such a great group of students who are always thinking of others.
