Cooking Around the World students are currently in Spain, Italy, and Greece. Today we made pasta noodles from scratch! Tomorrow they will put them into an Italian dish choosing their sauce and ingredients. The students have learned about each countries' climate, type of food grown, and their culinary traditions. oods II Class (two sections) have been planning their PBL (Project Based Learning) to teach preschool students about dairy nutrition. Our big day is coming "mooving" fast and all their hard work will pay off when we see the preschool students learning by playing carnival games. The students will answer questions and play the games including a dairy taste-testing booth with smoothies, pudding, and cheese samples. The students have daily assignments, projects, and tests, but the food labs are their favorite.
